Who we are

Specialist Australian capability.

Strativa Energy provides early-stage development support for utility-scale solar and battery energy storage projects in Australia.

Our capability is focused on the workstreams that determine whether an opportunity can progress: market entry, planning and environmental approvals, cultural heritage, land and stakeholders, grid connection, governance and due diligence.

Local capability. Owner-side control. Confident project delivery.

We help international developer teams establish an effective Australian development presence without building a full local organisation too early. Structured workstreams, clear reporting and decision-ready advice provide reliable visibility across project progress, risk and priorities.

Local capability matters. Australian projects face layers of federal and state regulation, each with its own triggers and timelines, and every jurisdiction has distinct planning and permitting requirements. Cultural heritage and environmental assessment add scope, cost and program risk, grid access needs technical depth and correct sequencing, and council, landowner and network relationships require consistent local presence.

What we do

Six services.
One development function.

Owner-side support across the workstreams that determine whether a utility-scale solar or BESS opportunity can progress in Australia.

Market Entry Framework

Orient, establish and execute. Market landscape review, regulatory mapping, stakeholder identification and initial risk assessment; consultant procurement, study sequencing, and governance and reporting setup; active development coordination, approvals lodgement and stakeholder engagement.

Development Workstream Management

One coordinated development program. Procurement and management of planning, environmental, heritage and engineering advisers; integrated scheduling, dependency management, risk and issue controls, milestone tracking, governance and decision-focused reporting.

Planning & Environmental Approvals

A clear, defensible approvals pathway. State and local planning pathways, development applications and planning amendments; Cultural Heritage Management Plans and Registered Aboriginal Party engagement; ecological studies; EPBC Act and state referrals; and local-authority liaison.

Land & Stakeholder Liaison

Secure access and build durable local relationships. Landowner outreach, options, leases and service agreements; easements, title and access review; council and community engagement; social-impact inputs, community-benefit commitments and stakeholder tracking.

Grid & Connection Approvals

The full six-stage NEM connection pathway: (1) connection enquiry; (2) application to connect; (3) detailed studies and GPS, including PSS/E and PSCAD modelling, system strength, stability and performance-standard negotiation; (4) connection offer and agreement; (5) AEMO registration and R1; (6) commissioning and model validation, including R2/R3.

Due Diligence

An independent view before capital is committed. Review of yield, constraints and buildability; permits and obligations; tenure, encumbrances and access rights; connection status, cost and curtailment exposure; red flags, mitigations and go/no-go advice.
